Co-op Power Plus™ Visa® cards.

Earlier this spring, Bluebonnet officially ended its relationship with our previous credit card issuer. Between March 15 and April 1, Bluebonnet credit card holders should have received a letter from their issuer notifying them of the change. The rebate program with that credit card issuer ended on June 1, 2007. While the cards that were issued under the old provider are still valid, cardholders no longer receive rewards. Those cardholders, who were in the rebate program and were eligible, received a final $50 rebate check along with a future monthly billing statement. The final rebate check was based on purchases made prior to June 1, 2007.

Beginning June 1, First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is now our credit card provider. All Bluebonnet members are eligible to apply for the new Co-op Power Plus Visa credit card, and if approved, can take advantage of these rewards:

  • Earn three points for each $1 spent at Bluebonnet (i.e. paying your electric bill);
  • Earn one point for each $1 spent on all non-cooperative purchases;
  • Redeem points for cash back, travel, gift cards, merchandise and more;
  • Access to a customer service representative 24/7;
  • No annual point earning cap;
  • Up to five years to redeem points;
  • Free online access;
  • No annual fee; and
  • Competitive interest rates.
