Board Election Process

The Nominating Committee of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Inc., pursuant to notice given in the December 2009 issue of the Texas Co-op Power magazine, met at the Headquarters Building at 650 Highway 21 East, Bastrop, Texas, on January 19, 2010, at 9 a.m. to interview prospective candidates for the Board of Directors. There are four vacancies to be filled.

After due consideration to all applications received and interviewing all qualified applicants, the Committee nominated the following persons for the office of Director: Ben Flencher, Burleson County; George Kehler, Lee County; Ken Mutscher, Washington County; Milton Shaw, Caldwell County; and Lyle Wolz, Burleson County.

Nominations by petition for the office of Director of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Inc. must be filed in the office of the General Manager at Post Office Box 729, 650 Highway 21 East, Bastrop, Texas 78602, by 5 p.m. February 10, 2010, pursuant to Article III, Section 3 of the Bylaws of the Cooperative.
