Bluebonnet Celebrates One Year without
a Lost Time Accident

(GIDDINGS, TEXAS) Thursday, November 16, 2006, marked 365 days (1 year) without a lost time accident in the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative's Giddings service area. A lost time accident is an industry defined term describing any incident or illness that prevents an employee for reporting for the next work period, after the incident or accident occurs.

“Safety in the field and at the office has, and will continue to be, a top priority at Bluebonnet,” said General Manager Mark Rose. An awards luncheon was held for all Giddings employees on Friday, December 15, at the Bluebonnet Auditorium in downtown Giddings.
