The City of Martindale Receives $25,000 Grant

(GIDDINGS, TEXAS) The city of Martindale was recently awarded a $25,000 grant from Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) to help fund the development of the city's first park. The grant funds will be used to purchase playground equipment, basketball goals and picnic tables with grills. A walk and jog trail and improved access to the San Marcos River will also be a part of the project. Bluebonnet Community Development Representative Joyce Buckner presented the check to Martindale mayor, Lola Walker and members of the Park and Beautification Committee.
