Bluebonnet Repairing Storm Damage

(BASTROP, TEXAS) Crews from Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative are responding to outages caused by major lightning and heavy rain that swept through the service area June 3 and 4, 2007.

Approximately 800 members were without power as of 4:00 pm, June 4, 2007. Bluebonnet is expecting to restore power to these members by 9:00 pm.

The areas with the most outages at this time are Bastrop and Lockhart. In many instances, weakened trees and tree limbs have pressed against or fallen into distribution lines. Bluebonnet has contractors on site helping to clear the right-of-way.
