Bluebonnet Celebrates Two Years
Without a Lost Time Accident
August 23, 2006
(GIDDINGS, TEXAS) Thursday, June 29, 2006, marked 730 days (2 years) without a lost time accident
in the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative's Brenham service area. A lost time accident is an industry defined
term describing any incident or illness that prevents an employee for reporting for the next work period,
after the incident or accident occurs. “Safety in the field and at the office has, and will continue to be, a top priority at Bluebonnet,” said
General Manager Mark Rose. “Two years without a lost time accident is an outstanding achievement, and
I am very proud of what the Brenham office has accomplished.”
An awards luncheon was held for all Brenham employees on Friday, July 28, at the Brenham Gun and
Rod Club in Brenham. Commemorative plaques, which will be displayed in the two Brenham facilities,
were presented to the group along with individual awards for each employee. |
